We decided to spend a night in aour car at the Kazuma Pan waterhole. This solar panel driven pump has been working for a litlle more than a year now and is pumping 5000-6000 liter/hour and has saved many animals during this intense drought. It seemed that the lions rule at this place, sharing it with many many elephants. We plan to install at least two more solar pumps in the park in the near future. In the morning we could see that the hole was empty and the solar pump had kicked in again to fill it up for next night.
