The indigenous people of the world should benefit by the establishment of  trans frontier conservation areas and they become the custodians of the natural resources and the cultural world they live it. The resultant ecosystem services flowing from these TFCAs benefits the total population of the nations involved. This form of land use uplifts the quality of life and reduces poverty of the rural people as well as people in cities.


Professor Willem van Riet (PhD) as Chairman of the board, fundraiser and project manager. He has functioned as CEO with PPF South Africa for ten years with Dr Rupert, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and Dr Mandela. He resigned in 2010 and is now engaged as chairman and director of the Transboundary Foundation.

Eveline van Riet as secretary general & fundraiser. Eveline was secretary general of the PPF Sweden for two years. She is a specialist in corporate governance of NGOs with reference to the rules and regulations of the authorities dealing with fundraising in Sweden and a Certified European Fundraiser.

Professor Willem van Riet/Chairman


After completing his studies, a BArch in Cape Town, a ML Arch in Pennsylvania and a PhD in Pretoria, he spent 20 years as head of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of, where he initiated a new direction in environmental planning and environmental impact studies. His Phd researched was based on the development of a GIS program writing in Fortran for use in conservation areas that was acknowledged as the first GIS program in the South Africa. Prof joined the Peace Parks Foundation in 2000 as CEO. He resigned from Peace Parks Foundation in 2011. He is currently working as a consultant specializing in conservation, land-use planning, mining policies and rehabilitation, fundraising as well as GIS development. Prof has also been a member of the South African National Parks’ board for 15 years.

Eveline Dietz/Secretary-General-Fundraiser


Eveline studied languages at the University of Stockholm and is as a professional freelance interpreter and translator Dutch, Swedish and English for amongst others National Police, Customs, Courts and Trade Unions since 1985. She spent some years in Brazil, South America, where she was involved in volunteer work in orphanages. She was the secretary-general for the Peace Parks Foundation Sweden from 2009-2011 and founded the Transboundary Conservation Foundation together with Professor Willem van Riet 2011. Eveline is a certified European Fundraiser (Bergh’s School of Communications).

Margaux Dietz/Marketing-Fundraiser


Margaux Dietz is one the most famous Swedish influencers. She blogs for Elle and has her own YouTube channel (link to her YT channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4bC4z39cDT6UUgdmheEMHQ/featured ) Previously she worked as the chief editor of Devote and as project manager for Xtended Events. She has great!
